About Northern Elite Sports
At Northern Elite Sports, we recognize the need for sport development growth in Northern Ontario. Our programs are designed to develop elite athletes while simultaneously strengthening sports in the region. We provide athletes with the opportunity to learn from top athletes who have achieved great success in their sports and serve as positive role models for our participants.
Our detailed drills focus on all aspects of the game to enhance athletes’ knowledge and skill level. The Academy’s instructors are local athletes who have competed at the NCAA D1 & D3, USport and ACHA levels, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the program.
Off-ice conditioning is a crucial component of the sport, and our athletes work with Certified Personal Trainers to learn proper warm-up and cool-down activities. They are also educated on training programs to become more aware of their mind and body, allowing them to maximize their potential.
Throughout the season, the Academy offers skill-specific clinics, and in the summer, we hold week-long camps for athletes to fully immerse themselves into the sport(s) their are passionate about. These camps are designed to enhance athletes’ skills and knowledge of the game while providing a supportive and encouraging environment.
We've perfected our teaching model on the ice, and now we’re expanding into a multi-sport model, offering families the choice of full-day multi-sport weeks or sport-specific weeks in a wide range of sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and more!
